Greetings everyone! A prayer request came in from Livermore Baptist Church in California that accompanied us on our trip to Lakeshore. One of the young men that served with us from Livermore, Patrick Schalin, was just diagnosed with liver cancer. Patrick was not feeling well for several days after returning home from Lakeshore, and eventually went to the doctor and received the diagnosis. After hearing the news, the first words out of Patrick’s mouth when speaking to his mother were, “I wonder how God is going to use this.” You can keep up with Patrick on his Caring Bridge website. Leave him a note and let him know you will be praying.
